I just want to file a complaint for the developers Acerhomes and Verdantpoint. I purchased a house and lot from them and eversince then, there have been a lot of problems and negligence on their part.

It started on July, 2006, I can't remember the exact date but that was the day I thought that investing on a house of our own would be a great idea. So, I did, I went ahead and purchase a house and lot on Acerhomes. For 8 months I paid the downpayment on time because I was hoping that after the downpayment the house will be constructed soon. Because that was the agreement based on the contract. So, March of 2007 came which is the 8th and last month of paying for the downpayment came. I went to their office in Summit paid the money and asked if they will be starting the construction real soon. The receptionist then checked my account and said that it will start as soon as they receive the Notice to Construct. So, I waited for the next month to come and still upon asking them again after paying for my first monthly ammortization, they said thatthey are still waiting for the notice to construct to arrive first before they will start the construction. So, come May of 2007, that's when they start constructing the house which is already overdue because it should have started if not March, April will suffice. Now, according to them, everytime that I verify they always said that it will just take 3-6 months to finish constructing the house. So, I still pay on time for the monthly ammortization and I waited until August came. So three months had passed and after I paid my dues I asked the receptionist again regarding the status of the house.
And to my surprise, they said it's just 28 percent. So I just thought that's okay since they insist that it will take 3-6 months to finish constructing it. So, I did not bother asking for the progress for the following months and instead I just wait for another 3 months. So, come November of 2007 and I verified if the house is fully constructed since its already due date and its been 6 months. Guess, what they replied, they said its just 50 percent. At this point I am really devastated because they committed that it should be done but they failed to fulfill their commitment. But I am still patient, so come January of 2008 came, I asked again for the progress and they said its just 65 percent. I asked why is that and all they can say is because there have been some problems with the developer. There has been some instances that they said its because Verdantpoint had taken over so there was a delay. From my perspective, my property shouldn't suffer if there's any changes that they're doing on their part, they should still be able to fulfill their promises and commitment.

So, February and March passed with the progress of only 70 percent and I'm still containing myself and said there must be a better explaination for this, but each month passed I am getting impatient of all their never-ending alibi's. So come April of 2008, I informed the Sales Manager that I have dealt with when purchasing the house about the situation and he went to the site and said that the reason was the house was delayed is because some materials were stolen. From my point of view, that shouldn't be the case, they should be able to take care of that since I'm always paying on time and they have a commitment to their client. So, come May of 2008 and they said that the house is finally constructed, I thought my nightmare will finally be over because it's been a year since they started constructing a house that's not even big. So I was then excited about the turn-over and forget about my plan to file a complaint.

But my nightmare is not done yet, the house is fully constructed but they still can't turn over the house because it needs to have the facilities like Meralco and water supply fully functioning before turn over. I understand that and they promised again that this will be taken cared of in about a month. So come, June I paid for my monthly ammortization and was hoping that the house can be turn over because its been over a month already. But to my disappointment AGAIN,again for hundred times, they said they still can't turn it over because they haven't started installing the Meralco on the Phase 2E yet. More often they will just keep on passing the phone to other person who really can't answer my questions when I asks for the reason of the delay AGAIN. I wish they'd grew tired of giving all these alibi's and get the work done. I have been paying on time without fail and I have been recommending them to my my friends. But what do I get in return, negligence and delay on all the aspect of their service.

I hope that whoever read this can take action to my problem. Because, it will be two years by next month but still I haven't been able to move in to the house and lot I have purchased. And there would be no reason for this to happen because I have paid all my dues on time without any delay. Thanks in advance for the people who will take a look at my case.
