On February 2008, I reserved a unit for Greengate Subdivision in Imus Cavite being developed by Homemark, Inc., for Php5000.00 with the complete set of requirements needed. After 2 months I was advised that there was a "remapping" of the subdivision causing my unit to have been moved to the end of the row. This caused the unit to become an end unit making it's price become more expensive which ofcourse I would not be able to afford anymore. They then offered me another unit having the same price as what I've initially agreed upon which was so far away from the gate. Since I did not conform with this arrangement, and with all the stress of dealing with this developer, I decided to just withdraw my account with them as I believe the reservation fee did not serve it's real purpose (which is to secure the unit as well as the price bieng agreed upon at the date of purchase/reservation). However, until now, no refund has been made and whenever I call to follow-up on it, no clear answer is being given to me for my refund. I believe it's not fair. To begin with, why did they market the place without proper approval from HLURB. How do I go about claiming my refund with the help of your agency because I am not getting any cooperation from them at all. I know that it is just Php5000.00, but for an employee with low income like me, this amount is something that I cannot afford to just let go of. Please help me.
