Good Day, I would like to know what is the warranty period on a new house is, my husband and I bought a new house in Gran Europa, Frontiera SD. in 2004 and now we are finding that the the wood the contractor use was not treated, the stairs are falling apart, door frames are coming detached from the walls, when we took over the house the developer said we had 1 week to report anything wrong, nothing goes wrong in 1 week, the house has to settle first, the problems then start to arise after about 1 to 2 years. Have we any recourse against the developer who by the is Crown Asia.
An early answer would be appreciated.
