I am a buyer of a lot in Verdana Mamplasan in Binan,Laguna from Community Innovations(CI), an Ayala owned subdivision-developer. One of the main reasons why we bought the lot was because we were convinced not only by their marketing agents but also the one's we've read from tehir advertisements be it on print or online, regarding it's ready access(i.e. 5 minute from SLEX) but which lately we found out that going thru the subdivision, we have to pass an existing access road built and owned by another developer,Greenfield Corporation before we could reach Verdana.
Now, Greenfield Corporation, is disallowing anyone unless a sticker is bought from them although in the meantime they have exempted homeowners already residing in Verdana. I see this as a temporary solution which could lead to a much bigger problem considering that Community Innovations should have settled this right of way issues prior to the sale of the these properties to unknowing buyers who have been deceptively misinformed like us. What could happen in the future is that Greenfield might completely disallow us,Verdana whether lot and homeowners from the use of the access road to Verdana. Can HLURB do something on these? Aren't CI should take care of this right of way access and that no stickers should be required of us?
