Where can we file complaints when the condominium units sold to us are actually smaller than what we paid for? What are our options?
I would also like to ask where we can address this concern about our subdivision in Balanga, Bataan. We have been residing at Dona Angelina Subdivision in Barangay Tenejero for the past 10 years. In the late 1990s we thought that our subdivision has been turned over to the city because we were made to believe so. However late this year we submitted in the city hall street names which we wanted to use in our area and much to our surprise we found out that our subdivision is still under the responsibility of VL Construction, the developer and that we were never turned over to the city. The city officials told us that we cannot avail the services of the city with regards to the request of putting up electric posts and repair of roads unless we have been turned over to the city. We have sought a dialogue with the representative of the said developer last October but no action has been taken. We have followed up our petition and we were always assured that they are doing everything to facilitate the process. City officials have told us that once VL Construction has done the required repairs they will sign the turn over request. How long is the reasonable time for us to wait before lodging a complaint against the developer and where can we file it?
