I am buying a housing lot (house and lot Lot 7,32sq meters). this is under the socialized housing (BP220).I am paying P50,000 processing fee for such lot.there is another lot (Lot 8,13sq meters only) adjacent to such lot.the office said,at first, when we paid for the reservation of Lot 7 that we need to get Lot 8 also and that there is no processing fee for Lot 8, that we only need to pay P5000 per square meter for Lot 8 and another reservation fee. We agreed to such terms and we agreed to start paying for Lot 8 six months after we paid the reservation for Lot 7.
When we came back to the office, they told us that we need to pay another processing fee for Lot 8 which is P50000. we told them that we were told that there is no processing fee for such lot.that we really made it clear at the time that we paid the reservation for Lot 7 that there is no processing fee for Lot 8. The office insisted that we really have to pay for the processing for even though it is an extra lot only (no house and that it is only 13 sq m) because Lot 8 is under a different land title
I really do not think that the price for the processing fee of Lot 8 is reasonable.This is unreasonable price. the housing is a low cost housing (socialized housing) and it is such a very small lot.
I need your advice on this.
